Nature & Music don’t match?? We want our guests to get away from the hazel and stress of the city, and relax in nature with us. Therefore we ask our guests to leave the music and noise in town, especially during the evenings. That doesn’t mean you mustn’t enjoy your stay, but please always consider your neighbours. They also want to relax and enjoy their stay.

Parys accommodation: If you want to spoil the family, book them into the luxury three star 4 to 6 bed River Lodges, or make use of our regular 4 to 6 bed self-catering chalets. Bring only towels and something to eat. Caravan and camping sites with a lovely view over the river are available on the Vaal-river side. Come and relax, do bird watching, paddle on the river, do fishing, enjoy the thrill of White-water Rafting or play a game of golf on the two great golf coarses close to us. You can also join us for sunset cruise on rafts (paddling) just before sunset (min 4 people) with snacks or a bonfire braai at a bonfire. For the kids we have a swimming pool, Jacuzzi, DSTv, pool table and a playground. They are welcome to bring their bikes/mountain bikes - there's plenty of space for that.

Click to open photo More info on chalets CLICK HERE: The small town of Parys is 90 minutes drive from Gauteng and Oliver Tambo international (Johannesburg), 45 minutes from the Vaal triangleand Potchefstroom, 2 hrs form Pretoria and 3hrs from Bloemfontein. We cater for families, family reunions, caravan clubs, golfing groups, fisherman, friends, corporate functions and youth groups. The kiosk keeps the normal: Ice, wood, charcoal, cold drinks, ice-cream, beer, tackle, etc. As with other resorts, it is normally not so busy during in season and midweek, but during peak season you can expect more visitors. Parys is a very popular tourism destination with a lot of curio shops, cosy dining places etc. The Vaal de Grace golf course developed by Nicky Price on an island is very popular, as is the Parys golf estate. There are a few game farms in the area, and while driving through the Dome Bergland, you are welcome to visit Schoemanati Mampoer farm. Venterskroon is also an interesting place to visit. There are a few good hiking trails in the mountains. The yearly “Crater Cruise” mountainbike event and Parys adventure festival are events not to be missed. IN AND AROUND PARYS:

FOR THE KIDS: Jungle gym and baby pool for the small ones. The bigger kids can use the swimming pool, do target shooting and paddle on the river with dad.
